Brett East is a Sydney based artist working in photography and painting. His paintings are photo-realistic depictions of oil paint oozing from a paint tube. Technically brilliant, these works are brightly coloured and appear simultaneously in and out of focus. They are vibrant portraits of paint itself.
Brett East has been exhibiting for over a decade. His work is in the collection of the Art Gallery of NSW as well as many private collections in Australia.
